Our shortboards have a proven pedigree. Unlike too many mainstream brands, we don't need to make any claims we can't substantiate about what they might or might not do. For two decades they have been ridden around the world by everyone from pros in Hawaii to amateurs in Croyde. Yes they are loose. Yes they are fast.

The Design in detail
2011 has seen several subtle changes to our standard model, perhaps most importantly is the slightly thicker foil. That means it is thicker at each end rather that thicker in the middle. Because the rails remain low to maintain the sensitive feel of the ride, it's kinda hard to see but the extra float provided from the thicker foil does make for easier paddling. It also means you can ride them an inch smaller than normal if you want. Entry rocker remains much the same as 2010 whilst the tail rocker has been increased a little to help give smoother changes of direction.
Template wise the subtle hips remain around 12'' forward from the 5 ¼'' wide squashtail and the nose is a gnat's crotchet wider at the 12'' mark.
Finally a word about the Lokbox fin system we use. Because our shortboards are such refined, high performance craft the fins could not be more important. They are the engine room for the drive in you manoeuvres. In an attempt to save costs even expensive brands will compromise performance with a cheap fin system. Inferior fin systems flex at the base, it's called delayed flex, it sucks. Lokbox is recognised as one of the very best fin systems available on the market today.
